Cynnal y Cardi is offering the opportunity for rural communities in Ceredigion to come forward with innovative community led project ideas to help make the county an even better place to live and work.
If you have an idea to support your community, you can turn it into a reality with the support of Cynnal y Cardi.
Cynnal y Cardi, which is administered by Ceredigion County Council, has a number of topic areas where ideas are being sought under the LEADER scheme – all of which are detailed on www.cynnalycardi.org.uk. Helping the environment and reducing everyday living costs or providing better access to local services by using digital technology are only a few of the ideas that could be explored and supported. All ideas are welcome – big or small – and on a rolling basis. Monday 4 September 2017 is the next closing date for submitting applications.
LEADER aims to support innovative responses to opportunities or challenges faced by rural communities and is supported through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. The scheme is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
If you would like to discuss your idea, call Meleri, Alison or Marie in Cynnal y Cardi on 01545 572063. For further topic areas, visit www.cynnalycardi.org.uk. The closing dates in 2017 for submitting applications are: 4 September; and 11 December, with further closing dates in 2018 announced shortly on www.cynnalycardi.org.uk. All submissions are welcome in Welsh or English and the Cynnal y Cardi Team look forward to hearing your ideas.
