Process 2: All other LEADER activity

This will follow a two stage process – which includes the completion of an initial Expression of Interest (EOI) form, followed by a full application.

Please contact the LEADER Team for guidance prior to submitting any application on e-mail cynnalycardi@ceredigion.gov.uk or telephone 01545 572063.

Stage 1 – Expression of Interest (EOI)

EOI process is primarily about checking the eligibility of the application and recognising its potential. Following receipt of EOI form the LEADER Team will check its eligibility, fit with LDS and that it adheres to LEADER principles. Comments will be provided to LAG.

The EOI will be discussed by the LAG where the LAG will decide on whether the applicant is invited to prepare and submit a full application. No formal scoring will take place. The LAG discussion will be based on the following:

  • Does it fit with LDS?
  • Does the LAG like the idea?
  • Does it adhere to LEADER principles?
  • Is it eligible?
  • Does it respond to an identified need?

Applicants can re-submit their EOI, or if not suitable for LEADER support, applicants will be signposted to a more suitable funding programme.
