What is cooperation?

Cooperation – is to undertake a joint project with another LEADER group, or with a group taking a similar approach, in another region or Member State. Such cooperation can help LEADER groups to boost their local activities and can provide opportunities for mutual learning. Cooperation can evolve from exchange of experience to the transfer of promising practice to a common action.

There are 2 types of cooperation activity:

  1. Inter Territorial – Cooperation projects being undertaken within the UK Member State.
  2. Transnational – Cooperation projects between territories in several Member States or with territories in third countries.

How do I get involved in cooperation?

The LAG can support cooperation project activity that addresses one of the 5 themes. Ideas can be submitted on a rolling basis. To discuss your ideas e-mail cynnalycardi@ceredigion.gov.uk or telephone 01545 572063.
