Cynnal y Cardi: How can you support your local community?
The Cynnal y Cardi Local Action Group has been successful in securing over £3 million for delivering innovative rural initiatives until 2020 in Ceredigion.
LEADER aims to improve the quality of life in rural areas by applying a very specific method of working, which includes the engagement, capacity building, participation and mentoring of individuals, businesses, community and voluntary groups. It looks to engage grass roots communities to encourage the generation of innovative ways to sustain the rural economy through investigating, trialling and piloting activity.
We can help you with:
Project Development - Evaluation - Pilot Projects - Feasibility Studies
Facilitation - Training - Mentoring - Consultation
Even the simplest idea can have the greatest impact.
The Cynnal y Cardi Local Development Strategy has identified a number of priorities as set out within the five LEADER themes. Any LEADER activity must deliver under at least one of these and adhere to the key LEADER principles. The Local Action Group will have a key role in implementing activity but they are also seeking your ideas. Click here for further details on submitting your idea.
